Why The British Grammar School System Isn’t Fair

Firstly, what are grammar schools?

Grammar schools are state-funded, academically selective senior schools within the UK, and the fact that they are selective is what distinguished them from other state-funded senior schools.

Why do you want to send your child to a grammar school?

All the research points to the fact that grammar school students perform better at their final exams and in all measures across the key school stages.

It’s often said that attending a grammar school provides pupils with the skills, resources and connections required to be successful later in life.

For me, the grammar schools in my area look to provide a much better educational environment than any of the non-grammar schools I’ve visited.
