Should I take offence at the responses my stories get?

I enjoy writing.

For some stories it provides an opportunity for me to get some thoughts out of my head, which is a form of therapy.

For other stories it’s an opportunity to entertain myself with a few little quips and observations.

Either way, it still amazes me when someone takes the time to read any of the things I write.

With all the things people can be doing with their time these days, if people are willing to spend a few moments listening to a middle aged man, from England and his little life struggles, then that’s an amazing thing.

I thank you all.

Then, when someone takes the time to actually write a response to me, that really blows my mind.

I’ve had one story that has garnered a few responses, and they’re split fairly evenly between positive and negative.

Why I Put My Own Child into Foster care

I’ve not sought the responses but so far have responded to every one.
